At the 5th Changan Technology Ecosystem Conference held recently, Changan's fourth-generation Eado was officially launched. The official guide price of the three models is 87,900-99,900 yuan, and the limited-time price after adding cash gifts starts at 72,900 yuan.
Yang Dayong, executive vice president of Changan Automobile, said at the press conference that Changan Automobile (V logo) will comprehensively build "smart energy-saving cars", and the fourth-generation Eado is aimed at mainstream family users around the world. From the dual dimensions of "intelligence" and "energy saving", it will bring users a new choice of "stable, reliable and safe" family sedans.
The fourth-generation Eado follows Changan Automobile's "Vertical and Transverse" design concept, adopts a flowing plastic body, and has a golden structure with a short front overhang of 895mm and a long rear overhang of 1125mm. Combined with a diving posture with a low front and a high rear, it shows a smart posture.
The new car series is standard equipped with front and rear through-type LED digital waterfall light columns + luminous logos. The headlights use 88 LED lamp beads and 110×24 mm narrow lenses. The brightness of high/low beams is increased by about 15%, and it lights up at a speed of 46 milliseconds.
The fourth-generation EADO is equipped with the world's first 500-bar ultra-high-pressure direct-injection New Blue Whale 1.5T engine, paired with the iEM intelligent energy management system, making it the only family sedan in its class to feature a T engine. Tests show that models equipped with the intelligent New Blue Whale 3.0 engine can travel 1,000 kilometers on a single tank of fuel, with a per-kilometer operating cost of less than 50 cents.
The fourth-generation Eado is the first to be equipped with Changan Automobile's latest Tianshu smart cockpit. The entire series is equipped with AI large-model voice access DeepSeek as standard, which can understand complex voice needs and realize full-scene intelligent voice control without wake-up. For example, if the user says "I'm a little cold", the system will automatically increase the air conditioning temperature.
The 14.6-inch + 10.25-inch Tianshu Cloud Mirror smart dual-screen has a built-in Tianshu OS system, which supports a variety of desktops and super customization. Through the scene cube, you can achieve a customized combination of 241 functions such as driving mode, air conditioning, navigation, seats, doors and windows, applications, etc. with one click to meet users' personalized travel needs.
The fourth-generation Eado has a length, width and height of 4785mm×1840mm×1440/1450mm and a wheelbase of 2765mm, which can meet the needs of a family of five. After the rear seats are folded down, the storage space can be expanded to a maximum of 1250L, which can easily accommodate items such as baby strollers and camping equipment.
In terms of safety, the fourth-generation Eado series comes standard with a "China Top Ten" high-strength Ark Cage body. The body steel reaches a maximum strength of 1500 MPa, with 77.2% of the high-strength steel used, exceeding the industry standard for 90% of sedans. Active safety features include integrated adaptive cruise control (IACC) and other driver assistance features. A 540-degree panoramic camera and high-definition driving recorder help drivers better understand their surroundings. The class-leading remote control perpendicular parking function makes parking even easier.
