The MG brand, which has fully entered the new energy field, is ready to become the focus of the pure electric market with a new car that has rich intelligent configuration, leading technological strength and spacious space.
Recently, the new MG4, a "pure electric smart and fun large hatchback", has officially started pre-sale with a pre-sale price ranging from 73,800 yuan to 105,800 yuan. The new car is scheduled to be officially launched on September 5.
It is worth mentioning that the world's first semi-solid-state battery to be mass-produced in vehicles will be first installed in the new MG4. The price of this model will be announced in September and mass delivery will be within the year.

As the brand's first major model in its full-scale foray into the new energy sector, the all-new MG4 is also the first MG model to feature the vehicle-to-vehicle interconnection system jointly developed by SAIC and OPPO. This system allows users to automatically activate the air conditioning, seat ventilation, and other pre-installed features with a single voice command before leaving the vehicle. A friend can also share a restaurant location by simply shaking their phone to sync it to the car's computer. The system is also compatible with numerous phone brands, including Huawei, Apple, and Android, ensuring seamless integration without complex operations.

Based on a precise understanding of the needs of women and novice car owners, the all-new MG4 boasts numerous thoughtful features. For example, the new car offers the only 360-degree sun protection within the 200,000 RMB price range, with the front windshield blocking 99.9% of UV rays; soft-light makeup mirrors on the front passenger and front passenger seats, achieving a 4500K daylight color temperature that recreates a natural makeup effect; and exclusive executive sedan privacy glass to protect the eyesight of children in the back seat.

In terms of space, the new car boasts a class-leading length of 4395mm and a wheelbase of 2750mm. Thanks to its unique CTB battery-based body structure, the vehicle boasts a room ratio of 93.8%, providing a riding experience comparable to that of a B-segment car. Furthermore, the car features a unique 98L sunken storage compartment and a unique three-tiered trunk, allowing for flexible partitioning and configuration to easily accommodate daily needs.

MG is particularly proud of its technology. The new model features the only integrated thermal management system in its class, utilizing a proprietary aluminum rare earth alloy. This technology breaks the monopoly and achieves the widest operating temperature range in its class (down to -35°C). Compared to split-system heat pump air conditioners, the system consumes 50% less energy and improves winter heating efficiency by 30%. Its exceptional low-temperature performance and safety are expected to break the barrier that restricts new energy vehicles from entering the three northeastern provinces.
The all-new MG4 has a range of 530km, and its range in low-temperature environments is higher than the industry average. It can replenish power from 30% to 80% in 20 minutes; the power consumption per 100km is as low as 10.4kWh, and it accelerates from 0 to 50km/h in just 3 seconds, achieving a balance between styling, energy consumption and power.
In addition, in terms of battery safety, the battery pack deforms only 3.6mm after a 50km/h side collision. The passenger compartment is immersed in 1 meter of water or the vehicle wades through 50cm of water for 4 hours, and the battery compartment remains water-free. It uses a new generation of "zero spontaneous combustion" batteries, meets strict safety standards, and provides a lifetime warranty for the three-electric system.
