There have been adjustments to the leadership team of FAW Group.
On July 11, 2024, China First Automobile Group Co., Ltd. held a meeting to announce the appointment of leadership team members: According to the Central Organization Department's notice on the appointment of leadership team members of the group company, Comrade Chen Bin was appointed as member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of China First Automobile Group Co., Ltd. The appointment and removal of relevant positions shall be handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Public information shows that Chen Bin, born in 1976, joined Dongfeng Company in 1998 and worked there for 26 years. His business scope included automobile procurement and party and government related work.
In June 2016, Chen Bin was transferred to the position of Party Secretary of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and assisted the general manager in charge of human resources, production and manufacturing, safety, procurement, quality, business line costs and related work.
In August 2018, he served as the general manager of Dongfeng Motor Corporation. In September 2020, Chen Bin was promoted to assistant to the president of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, executive vice president and party secretary of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd. Soon, he was promoted to general manager of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd.
After taking over Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile, Chen Bin launched the "Yuan+ Plan", focusing on after-sales services to attract old car owners to return. At the same time, he proposed to adhere to altruism and long-termism, and continue to promote the "Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Manufacturing, Global Sales" strategy.

Under the leadership of Chen Bin, the overall sales volume of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile increased from 50,000 vehicles in 2020 to 100,000 vehicles in 2021 and 120,000 vehicles in 2022. Data shows that in the first quarter of this year, the domestic terminal retail sales volume of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile increased by 3% against the trend.
Currently, there are 7 members in China FAW's leadership team. After taking office, Chen Bin will become the youngest member of the group's party committee team.
