The rapid popularization of new energy vehicles is reshaping the domestic automotive aftermarket landscape. With the average age of vehicles in China reaching 7 to 8 years, the peak period for chassis maintenance is beginning, bringing new market opportunities to the chassis business.
At the recent 2025 Shanghai Frankfurt Automotive Parts Exhibition, multinational automotive parts supplier Mahle and domestic automotive parts distribution and service company Shanghai Jiapei officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement on a chassis project. It is understood that this cooperation will leverage Jiapei's nationwide network of 36 stores to jointly expand Mahle's chassis replacement and repair business in the Chinese automotive aftermarket.

Mahle Mobility Lifecycle Division in China successfully signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Jiapei on a chassis project at the 2025 Shanghai Frankfurt Automotive Parts Exhibition.
Didem Ekiz, Asia Pacific Director of Mahle Mobility Lifecycle Business Unit, stated, “Our commitment goes beyond simply offering a single product; we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, integrated solutions for dealerships and repair shops across China. The chassis project launched in collaboration with Shanghai Jiapei is a practical application of this vision.”
This collaboration demonstrates a new model of synergistic development between multinational corporations and local distributors. Mahle will thereby further explore new opportunities in China's automotive aftermarket, while Shanghai Jiapei will leverage Mahle's strong product capabilities to enhance its market competitiveness.
