XPeng Motors responded to external doubts about robots with a "one-shot" technique.
On November 5th, at XPeng Technology Day, XPeng's new generation IRON robot made a stunning appearance walking the catwalk. However, precisely because it was "too human-like," the comment section instantly exploded—many netizens joked: "Is there a real person hidden inside?" "It even has ears, it's so realistic!"
On the morning of November 6, XPeng Motors CEO He Xiaopeng released a video that recreated the entire process of the robot walking like a cat in one continuous shot. The video also showed the robot team unzipping the back to reveal its internal structure from all angles: from the lattice muscles and controllers in the back, to the transport fixation devices in the shoulders, to the microphone arrays in the ears, and the harmonic joints in the hands... revealing each detail one by one.

He Xiaopeng stated at the event: "Within the next three years, Chinese robotics startups will definitely bring about more advanced humanoid robots that can not only interact with language and walk autonomously, but also complete simple tasks. This is the mission of our generation of entrepreneurs, and it is also the responsibility we must shoulder—to push robots to mass production."
It is reported that XPeng plans to mass-produce the high-end robot IRON by the end of 2026.
