The Ministry of Public Security held a press conference in Beijing on October 14th, announcing the nationwide rollout of a "one-stop" service for new domestic passenger car registration starting November 1st. This service will facilitate the sharing and verification of information such as vehicle sales invoices, purchase tax, and insurance, enabling the full digital processing of new domestic passenger car registrations and eliminating the need to submit paper documents. Simultaneously, a new vehicle registration module has been developed and implemented within the "Traffic Management 12123" app, integrating online services such as vehicle selection, insurance purchase, license plate selection, and registration. This allows for the sharing of new vehicle information online, eliminating the need for vehicle inspection at the vehicle management office and enabling registration and licensing services to be completed online from home.
It is understood that the Ministry of Public Security will implement seven "one-stop" reform measures for public security traffic management from November 1, including the implementation of a "one-stop" service for the registration of new domestic passenger cars, online processing of the release of motor vehicle mortgage registration, online processing of temporary license plates for large transport vehicles, online replacement of motor vehicle registration certificates, online transfer of motor vehicle transfer information, convenient online processing of driver's license examinations, and online application for school bus driving qualifications.
