
A global model that has been around for 30 years and has gone through six generations now appears in a new look.
The Dongfeng Honda CR-V Global 30th Anniversary Edition was officially launched in Wuhan recently. The official suggested retail price for the gasoline-powered version remains unchanged, while the hybrid version has been comprehensively upgraded with a new Zhiyi all-wheel drive version and a lowered suggested retail price for higher-end trims, now starting at 145,900 yuan.

Keeping pace with the times, the new car is equipped with the newly upgraded Honda CONNECT 4.0 intelligent navigation system, which features a cleaner and more intuitive new UI. It also comes with built-in Baidu Navigation 6.0, voice assistant, and supports extended entertainment functions such as "Sing Bar" and "Watch with Your Heart".
In terms of driving performance, the new car inherits Honda's traditional driving genes, adopting a front McPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension combination, achieving a balance between comfort and driving pleasure. The Real-Time AWD intelligent four-wheel drive system combines multiple driving modes, allowing for on-the-fly switching to adapt to various road conditions. The hybrid version is equipped with the fourth-generation i-MMD system, with three drive modes: EV, Hybrid, and Direct Drive. The WLTC combined fuel consumption is 5.49L/100km, and the measured fuel consumption can be as low as 3.5L/100km, requiring only 92-octane gasoline.

In terms of space, the 2019 Honda MM space concept continues, with interior dimensions measuring 2510mm x 1590mm x 1190mm. The second-row seats offer 190mm of sliding adjustment fore and a 32° adjustment in 16 positions. The entire lineup features a 12.3-inch DA smart screen and a 10.2-inch LCD instrument panel for clear information. The 2019 Honda MM space concept also includes 50W wireless charging, a 12-speaker BOSE audio system, and practical features such as ANC active noise cancellation, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.

In terms of safety, as the first SUV model to receive a C-NCAP super five-star rating, the Dongfeng Honda CR-V Global 30 Years Glory Edition has upgraded the Honda SENSING 360+ safety super-sensing system. Based on the hardware upgrade of 19 high-precision sensors throughout the vehicle, it is equipped with more than 20 driving assistance functions, making long-distance driving easier and driving control safer.
