Adrian Mardell, one of Jaguar Land Rover's most senior employees and global CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, will officially retire on December 31, 2025, and his successor will be announced later.

Adrian Mardell, a 35-year veteran of the company, will assume the role of Global CEO on November 16, 2022. Under his leadership, Jaguar Land Rover has resolutely pursued its "Reinvent the Future" global strategy in the face of a challenging external environment, achieving record full-year results. In the most recent fiscal year, 2024/2025, the company achieved its highest pre-tax profit in nearly a decade and successfully achieved its strategic goal of zero net debt.
In addition, Jaguar Land Rover launched its "brand reshaping" strategy in 2023, which has achieved remarkable results in the past two years. The four major brands represented by Range Rover and Land Rover Defender continue to lead the high-end luxury market segment.
Adrian Mardell places great importance on the Chinese market, viewing it as a key focus of his global strategy. He and core management have visited China numerous times to gain a deep understanding of market trends and local innovation, and strongly supports the implementation of the "Global in China" strategy.
