General Administration of Customs: In the first five months, the export of automobiles increased by 16.8%, and the import of automobiles decreased by 32.8%

On June 9, the latest data from the General Administration of Customs showed that China exported 695,000 vehicles in May 2025, and the cumulative exports from January to May were 2.853 million, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%. China imported 47,000 vehicles in May 2025, and the cumulative imports from January to May were 182,000, a year-on-year decrease of 32.8%.
