
The Board of Directors of BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. (BMW Brilliance) has recently announced an important personnel appointment. Birgit Böhm-Wannenwetsch will succeed Dr. Franz Decker as President and CEO of BMW Brilliance from August 1, 2025.
It is reported that Dai Hexuan will end his term in China on July 31, 2025 and return to Germany to take up the new position of Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Information Technology of the BMW Group.

Prior to joining BMW Brilliance, Caroline Bosch led the BMW Group’s financial services division in the Americas, managing the BMW Group’s largest financial services business worldwide. Caroline Bosch joined the BMW Group in 2018 as Senior Vice President of Finance and Group Treasurer. During her more than 30 years of career in the automotive industry, she has held numerous important financial and management positions in Europe and North America.
During his nine years at BMW Brilliance, Dai Hexuan held several core senior management positions and assumed the position of President and CEO of the company in April 2022. Under his leadership, BMW Brilliance has achieved a significant expansion of its production layout and successfully built key projects such as the Lida plant and the sixth-generation power battery. These achievements have not only greatly enhanced the overall strength of the joint venture, but also consolidated BMW's leading position in the Chinese luxury market.
