On May 9, Geely Galaxy Star 8, a new generation of luxury mid-to-high-end electric hybrid sedan, was officially launched with the attitude of "starting as a flagship", and the limited-time price was announced to be 115,800-155,800 yuan (available for locked orders before June 30, 2025).
This price is far lower than the industry's expectations and is beyond the expectations of the outside world. Considering the needs of users, Geely did not force all models to be equipped with the Qianli Haohan intelligent safety assisted driving system (supporting high-speed NOA and APA intelligent parking) as standard, but simultaneously launched two basic assisted driving models with lower prices, leaving the choice to users. "All configurations have costs, and we must consider real needs," Fan Junyi emphasized.
At a time when price wars are fierce, Geely Galaxy Star 8 will not become a hit just by relying on low pricing. Fan Junyi said: "It is not enough to meet user needs now. If we want to become a hit, we must exceed user expectations."
