
On May 25, the Cadillac XT4, a mid-size luxury urban SUV, was launched with a total of three models: Urban, Luxury and Premium, with a full price starting at RMB 159,900.

In the 1950s and 1960s, when the Cadillac brand was at its most glorious, Cadillac's car advertisements were colorful, and most of them featured fashionable female models, who were either wearing leopard print coats, mink coats, or diamond-studded dresses. In order to attract female buyers, Cadillac also specially launched a new car color called dogwood pink in 1956, which became popular for a while.
In the minds of women at that time, Cadillac left a deep impression with its easy-to-drive, luxurious interior and comfortable seats. The fish fin tail that was unique to Cadillac was a symbol of fashion. Although the fish fin tail has long disappeared from Cadillac's designs, its unique insights into avant-garde design are still being continued in new models.
Take the XT4 as an example. Built on a luxury SUV platform, after the refurbishment, the XT4 still inherits the family-style diamond-cut exterior design, and the highly recognizable V-shield active air intake front grille highlights the style of classic design elements. Cadillac's iconic inline lightning headlights and inline flying wing taillights make the XT4 a "unique" style among the current stereotyped designs.
While inheriting Cadillac's pioneering aesthetic design, the XT4 also carefully considers the needs of female users. "Safety is the first thing I care about when choosing a car." Cadillac brand ambassador Qi Wei said when sharing her car experience. It is worth mentioning that no matter which Cadillac product it is, it is a "road tank" that is highly recognized by users. The XT4 adopts a nine-horizontal and seven-vertical BFI integrated high-strength body structure, and uses class-leading materials and unique designs in key collision parts such as doors, front and rear anti-collision beams, greatly improving the safety performance of the car.
Qi Wei also specifically shared a detail of the XT4 that impressed her. "I think the XT4 has a female-friendly function, which is the safety warning. Compared with the conventional sound and light warning, the XT4's warning is completed through vibration, which just gently reminds me to keep a safe distance without increasing my nervousness." In fact, female-friendly functions are quite common on the XT4. For example, the self-repairing tires that come standard with the XT4 avoid the situation of a person being at a loss when a nail pierces the tire while driving; the XT4's unique stage-level soft light makeup mirror allows beauty-loving women to enjoy touch-up makeup at any time in the car; the XT4 is also equipped with a panoramic sunroof with sunscreen black technology (which can effectively block up to 99.97% of ultraviolet rays), so that female users don't have to worry about sunscreen issues, etc.
In addition, the XT4 is still as easy to drive as ever. It has the only rear five-link independent suspension in its class, and with Cadillac's century-old chassis tuning experience, even a novice can easily control it; the power combination of the 2.0T variable-cylinder turbocharged engine and the 9-speed manual transmission meets the travel needs of female users: smooth and fuel-efficient commuting, and full of power when overtaking.
Throughout the press conference, Qi Wei repeatedly emphasized how the XT4 understood her, and these details that were pampered by the XT4 were far beyond what any parameter could give.
