
On December 10, at the Chongqing Avita Smart Factory, as an Avita 12 quad laser version slowly rolled off the production line, China Changan Automobile Group officially celebrated the production of its 30 millionth Chinese brand vehicle.
This not only makes Changan Automobile the first Chinese brand automobile company to break the 30 million vehicle milestone, but also adds a contemporary footnote to China's journey from a "major automobile country" to a "powerful automobile country".

The Avita 12 became the flagship model to commemorate this historic milestone, demonstrating Avita's strategic position as the group's flagship in the high-end market.
Zhu Huarong, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Changan Automobile, stated at the event that achieving the 30 million vehicle milestone is thanks to the support of a vast number of users, partners, and generations of Changan employees. He also announced the strategic goals for 2030: to strive for 5 million vehicle production and sales, with new energy vehicles accounting for over 60% and overseas sales exceeding 30%.
In fact, from its first entrepreneurial venture in 1984, which transitioned from military to civilian production, to its second entrepreneurial venture in 2003, which transitioned from commercial to passenger vehicles, and then to its transformation into a smart and low-carbon mobility technology company in 2017, Changan Automobile's 41-year development trajectory is a microcosm of the transformation of China's automotive industry from weak to strong.
It took Changan Automobile 30 years to reach its first 10 million units in sales, 7 years to reach its second 10 million units, and only 4.5 years to reach its third 10 million units. This acceleration is seen by the industry as a direct reflection of the explosive growth of China's new energy vehicle industry and the upward development of its brands, and it also marks a new stage of large-scale, global, and high-quality development for Changan Automobile.
Behind 30 million vehicles lies the trust of 30 million families. Changan Automobile regards "safety" as the cornerstone above all else and continues to deepen its connotation.

From the first microcar crash in 1999 to the first electric vehicle crash with live electricity in 2011, and then to the establishment of the CA-TVS verification system covering extreme environments, Changan has gradually built a full life-cycle safety system. In September of this year, Changan launched the "New Changan, New Safety, Tian Shu Intelligent" brand, expanding the scope of safety from physical protection to all dimensions of driving, health, psychology, and privacy.
The confidence behind this "new security" paradigm stems from its robust R&D system. Changan invests 5% of its annual revenue in R&D, establishing a research and development network spanning six countries and ten locations, boasting a technical team of over 24,000 people, and applying for over 14,000 patents in the past three years. The TianShu Intelligent Experimental Center has created several "globally leading" and "globally unique" laboratory clusters.
According to reports, in order to achieve sustainable growth, Changan Automobile has built five core competitive advantages: technology, products, marketing, services, and brand.
Driven by the three major initiatives of "Shangri-La", "Beidou Tianshu", and "All Rivers Run into the Sea", Changan has achieved a number of technological breakthroughs, including the "Golden Bell Cover" battery, the SDA Tianshu architecture, and the Tianshu large model. It has also built a strong industrial chain "circle of friends" by cooperating with more than 50 leading enterprises such as Huawei and CATL.

While making continuous breakthroughs in technological achievements, China Changan Automobile has built a matrix of five major brands, and its brand momentum continues to strengthen.
At the product level, the brand matrix, including Avita, DeepBlue Auto, and Changan Qiyuan, is working together. Avita has achieved sales exceeding 10,000 units for nine consecutive months, DeepBlue Auto remains the top-selling new energy vehicle among central state-owned enterprises, and Changan Qiyuan's sales surpassed 46,000 units in November alone. These multiple brands are helping Changan achieve its goal of exceeding 1 million new energy vehicle sales by 2025.
As the flagship product of China Changan's new luxury intelligent electric vehicle brand, the Avita 12 embodies this historic milestone and highlights Avita's strategic position as the group's high-end flagship.
Standing at the new starting point of 30 million vehicles, Changan Automobile has drawn up a clear blueprint: guided by the three major plans of "Shangri-La" for new energy, "Beidou Tianzhu" for intelligent technology, and "Hai Na Bai Chuan" for globalization, it is determined to transform into an intelligent and low-carbon mobility technology company and strive to achieve a production and sales volume of 5 million vehicles by 2030, of which new energy vehicles account for more than 60% and overseas vehicles account for more than 30%.

In the field of new energy, we will continue to build three major brands: Avita, DeepBlue Auto, and Changan Qiyuan, and focus on the industrial layout of next-generation batteries and IGBTs; in terms of intelligence, we will deploy end-to-end intelligent driving and other multimodal technologies, and plan to mass-produce humanoid robots in 2028 and launch commercial flight cars in 2030; in terms of global operations, we will strengthen ESG construction and improve the localization capabilities of the entire chain.
