On November 29, Changan Qiyuan announced the launch of the new Q05 "Super Car Purchase Season", introducing a super trade-in policy with no threshold for the entire series, with a starting price as low as 74,900 yuan and the highest-spec model with lidar at 104,900 yuan.
In addition to its affordable starting price, the all-new Q05 is the first to bring a LiDAR system, a feature previously priced around 200,000 yuan, down to the 100,000 yuan market, making it the only pure electric SUV in this price range equipped with LiDAR. This move is seen by the industry as another "downgrade attack" on the 100,000 yuan pure electric SUV market.

The new car offers two range versions: 405km and 506km. It supports 3C fast charging, and the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 15 minutes.
The all-new Q05 Laser Edition is equipped with 27 sensors (including one lidar, three millimeter-wave radars, and 11 cameras), combined with the 128 TOPS computing power provided by the Horizon Robotics Journey 6M chip, enabling automatic lane changing, overtaking, and intelligent parking in high-speed scenarios. Official data shows that its parking assistance takes an average of 26 seconds and debuts a "front-parking" mode, enhancing daily usability. Furthermore, the vehicle features the TianShu intelligent cockpit based on TSMC's 4nm chip, supporting 5G networks and multi-brand mobile phone connectivity, with nearly three times faster vehicle response speed.

In terms of safety, the new Q05 comes standard with CATL battery cells and is equipped with Changan's self-developed "Golden Bell Cover" Battery 2.0 technology. The battery pack has an IPX8 waterproof rating and supports 24-hour background monitoring and full-range temperature control.
Industry analysts point out that amidst the ongoing price war, automakers are vying for consumer mindshare through technological equality and supply chain integration. Whether Changan Qiyuan can achieve a breakthrough in the 100,000-yuan pure electric SUV segment with the Q05 remains to be seen.
