On September 11, Venucia Auto and Hello Ride announced a strategic partnership and officially signed a purchase order for 10,000 Venucia VX6 vehicles. The partnership aims to jointly advance the R&D, iterative development, scenario-based application, and large-scale commercialization of L4 autonomous driving technology.
The two companies jointly launched the first self-developed L4 Robotaxi model, which will be launched for large-scale commercial operation in the domestic market. The signing took place during the 2025 Bund Conference, and leveraging the influence of this international technology event is expected to further stimulate industry attention to the commercialization of L4 autonomous driving.
On a technical level, the Venucia VX6 underwent a systematic redesign to meet the operational requirements of Level 4 Robotaxi systems. Advanced intelligent driving equipment was added to the vehicle during pre-installation mass production. The vehicle utilizes a six-fold redundancy design encompassing chassis, communications, power supply, perception, computing, and positioning, along with a domain control platform compliant with automotive regulations. This significantly enhances system robustness and functional safety. Multiple redundant backups enable rapid takeover in the event of a single system failure, ensuring continuous and stable operation and meeting the stringent safety and reliability requirements of mobility platforms.
On the product front, the Venucia VX6, with its spacious design and multifunctional features, is an ideal vehicle for Robotaxi operations. Based on "Magic Cube Seat" technology, the vehicle converts completely flat, creating a flat space measuring 2.5m x 1.5m. Its 61% wheelbase ratio and 90% "room-to-space ratio" provide a 3.64m³ passenger cabin while still accommodating a wide range of sensing hardware and computing units.
Taking its 15th anniversary as a new starting point, Venucia Auto is demonstrating its unwavering commitment to transforming from a traditional automaker to a provider of smart mobility solutions. Going forward, Venucia and Hello Auto plan to jointly explore innovative models such as Robotaxi operating standards, high-precision map update mechanisms, and vehicle-road collaboration. They will actively participate in the development of integrated "vehicle-road-cloud" smart mobility infrastructure, facilitating the digital upgrade of urban transportation systems.
