Volvo has unveiled its first super hybrid model from its luxury brand lineup.
On August 27, Volvo officially released the new XC70 and started pre-sales. The pre-sale price range is 299,900-329,900 yuan, and it will be officially launched on September 26.
It is reported that Volvo Cars is responsible for the new car from concept design, product project establishment, definition to planning, and it is built in accordance with Volvo Cars' standards. It is a pure Volvo product. While continuing the Scandinavian design philosophy, it has the safety genes inherited from Volvo Cars.

Born from Volvo's SMA super hybrid architecture, the all-new XC70 is the first super hybrid model from a luxury brand. It boasts a pure electric range exceeding 200km (CLTC operating conditions) and a combined driving range exceeding 1,200km.
In addition to its long-range driving capabilities, it also integrates the most powerful intelligent technology in its class, using "humanized intelligence" to open up a new dimension of luxury smart cockpit experience.
Volvo's safety research and development is always rooted in real-world crash scenarios. Volvo's accident investigation team has drawn upon experience from over 43,000 real-world accidents. Over 50 years of on-site investigations and safety technology advancements have resulted in a comprehensive "automotive safety lexicon." This valuable experience is also incorporated into the safety development of the all-new SMA architecture.

Adhering to the principle of safety, Volvo avoids excessive decoration and instead provides the most practical design solutions at the right time. It incorporates the concept of linear design into the vehicle's computer design, visualizing functional requirements with precise and clear lines. The XC70's interior features open, straight lines. The cockpit system consists of three screens: a 92-inch AR-HUD, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a 15.4-inch central control screen. This clear presentation of the digital control interface highlights vehicle functions, helping users quickly identify key information and focus on the road, establishing a reliable cognitive model for the driver, enhancing confidence and a sense of control.
It is understood that the new XC70 fills the market gap between the XC60 and XC90 in terms of model size and price range distribution, and will become a model that connects the past and the future for Volvo, providing users with more choices.
