In addition to manufacturing batteries, CATL has already jumped into the multi-billion dollar blue ocean of the automotive aftermarket.
Recently, Ningjia Service, an independent aftermarket brand under CATL, celebrated its first anniversary and the tenth anniversary of CATL's after-sales business. The Shanghai flagship direct experience center and the first overseas direct experience center in Bangkok, Thailand opened on the same day.

Ningjia Service, formerly known as CATL's after-sales service department established in 2015, officially became an independent brand in 2024. Leveraging 24 industry standards in which CATL's after-sales department has led or participated, Ningjia Service has established a proprietary service system covering three product lines, namely passenger, commercial, and energy storage, and six application scenarios. The system also features a comprehensive suite of proprietary equipment integrating testing, diagnosis, and repair.

Battery repair is a major pain point for new energy vehicle users. Leveraging its triple advantages of original equipment manufacturing, guaranteed authenticity, and authoritative certification, Ningjia Service has launched an innovative CTP repair service. This service offers repair prices significantly lower than the cost of a full battery replacement, breaking the industry's current "replacement only, no repair" dilemma.
To further enhance service professionalism and safety, Ningjia Service has exclusively developed non-destructive testing equipment that uses ultrasonic guided wave technology. This equipment can complete fault detection within 15 minutes without disassembling the battery, with a detection accuracy rate exceeding 90%. This effectively avoids secondary damage to the battery caused by disassembly and maintenance, and also saves users time and maintenance costs. The equipment is expected to be officially launched at the end of the year.

Ningjia Service is dedicated to providing new energy users with services throughout the entire battery lifecycle: production, use, and recycling. During the recycling process, Ningjia Service has established a "72-hour rapid recycling" network. Recycled batteries are then repaired, remanufactured, reused, or scrapped as renewable materials, depending on their condition and performance. This maximizes the battery lifecycle and minimizes resource waste.
Ningjia Service has established direct-operated experience centers in seven cities across China, including Wuhan and Guangzhou. Bangkok, Thailand, marks its first international expansion, serving as a key node for CATL's technology deployment and global service collaboration. Going forward, Ningjia Service will continue to promote innovation in maintenance technology, restructure its service models, and expand its network, injecting new momentum into the healthy, stable, and orderly development of the new energy vehicle aftermarket.
