Zhou Yan, a "traffic executive" in the automotive industry, found a new job after only one week of applying for a job online.
On June 20, Yang Xueliang, senior vice president of Geely Holding Group, confirmed on Weibo that Zhou Ying had joined Lynk & Co. He revealed that Zhou Ying would serve as executive vice president and report to Lin Jie, senior vice president of Geely Auto Group, and said that "he is familiar with the situation during this period and will not update Weibo frequently."

Because of his high level of activity on Weibo, Zhou Yan is called the "traffic executive" in the automotive industry by netizens.
According to the information, Zhou Yan officially announced on Weibo on December 9, 2024 that he would serve as the general manager of SAIC MG Brand Division. When he took office, he was evaluated by the media as the youngest brand general manager of SAIC Group. Zhou Yan, born in 1987, joined SAIC Wuling in 2011 and served as the director of the marketing center of Wuling Sales Company, the brand and marketing director of Wuling, and the deputy general manager of Wuling Sales Company. In August 2022, he left Wuling to serve as the head of Xiaomi Automobile Marketing. But a few months later in February 2023, Zhou Yan returned to his "old club" Wuling, and was responsible for the marketing of both Wuling and Baojun brands.
In early June this year, Zhou Yan, who had just joined MG for half a year, was revealed to have left. One sign was that he, who was known as the "King of Weibo", rarely updated his Weibo status from May 19 to June 4. On June 11, he posted on his personal Weibo, "It was not easy to get out. I am already middle-aged when I return." Not long after, he posted again, "Does anyone have any recommendations for excellent or outstanding companies?" This move was jokingly called "online job hunting" by the outside world.
On June 18, with Zhou Ying’s post on Weibo that “everything will be resolved smoothly in an inexplicable way”, the news that he would join Geely’s high-end brand Lynk & Co spread like wildfire.
Lynk & Co was founded in 2016 as a high-end brand jointly created by Geely Auto Group and Volvo Car Group, carrying the important mission of Geely's move towards high-end development. In February this year, Zeekr Intelligent Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. and Geely Automobile Holdings Co., Ltd. respectively issued announcements, announcing that Zeekr had completed the acquisition and capital injection of Lynk & Co. After the completion, 51% of Lynk & Co's equity belonged to Zeekr and 49% to Geely Automobile, and Lynk & Co became a non-wholly owned subsidiary of Zeekr.
