The third "Children's Talk Also Works" Children's Safety Initiative Action Forum was recently held in Beijing, under the guidance of the Road Traffic Safety Research Center of the Ministry of Public Security, co-organized by the China Youth Development Foundation and China Children's Press and Publication Group, and supported by the Mercedes-Benz Star Wish Foundation.
It is reported that the "Children's Talk is Effective" children's safety advocacy campaign has been held for three times so far. This campaign focuses on children's safety education based on the family as a unit, and launched a one-month "Family Safe Travel" proposal collection for children aged 6-12 across the country, collecting more than 4,500 works in total.

In 2012, the Mercedes-Benz Star Foundation introduced the world's earliest and most influential children's road traffic safety project "Safe Kids" to China. The "Children's Talk Works" children's safety initiative is an important public welfare practice under the "Safe Kids" project. It encourages children to make suggestions for children's road safety and has successfully incubated multiple safety proposals. Among them, the outstanding proposal "Student-only Pedestrian Path - Rainbow Road" was successfully implemented in Beijing Dongjiaominxiang Primary School in 2021. At present, more than 170 "school roads" of similar forms have been planned and implemented in Dongcheng District, Beijing.
As one of the earliest international automobile brands to devote itself to China's corporate social responsibility, Mercedes-Benz and its dealer partners jointly established the Mercedes-Benz Star Wish Foundation in 2010. After 15 years of public welfare practice, the Mercedes-Benz Star Wish Foundation has successfully established a composite public welfare system covering the "4+1" fields of environmental protection, culture and art, driving culture, education support and social care, and has continued to carry out nearly 100 public welfare projects in cooperation with many public welfare partners such as the Palace Museum, Dunhuang Academy, 4 major national parks, 15 world heritage sites, etc. At present, Mercedes-Benz has invested more than 360 million yuan in public welfare in China, benefiting more than 100 million people.
