In the 11th round of the 2025 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Formula E (hereinafter referred to as: Formula E) Shanghai Station, Jaguar TCS team driver Nick Cassidy led the way, won the pole position and finally stepped onto the highest podium, winning the Shanghai Station championship trophy again on behalf of the team after a year.

In the 11th round, driver Nick Cassidy won the pole position and led the whole race, winning the championship with a lead of more than 7 seconds.
This season's "double race" in Shanghai falls during the Dragon Boat Festival. The ensuing "Dragon Boat Water" rain has brought tough tests to the drivers on the field and doubled the suspense of the race.
In the 10th round, Nick Cassidy started from the fourth position and showed a strong speed. However, just in the second lap, a collision occurred on the field and unfortunately affected Nick. His car slid off the track after the collision. In the end, Nick finished the race in 21st place. Teammate Mitch Evans was punished with multiple penalties. Not only did he start from the last place, he was also penalized 10 seconds.
In the 11th round, after a 90-minute delay due to heavy rain, the race started under the guidance of the safety car. Nick drove the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 with excellent speed and precise team strategy support, leading the way and finally crossing the finish line with a lead of more than 7 seconds. Teammate Mitch Evans fought hard throughout the race, but failed to improve his ranking and finally finished 14th.
Nick Cassidy, driver No. 37 of Jaguar TCS Racing, said: “The victory in Shanghai is a moment that makes me very proud. From the field to the field, our team has a firm goal and has been fighting for the best results. Today’s championship is attributed to the speed we created on the field. Throughout the weekend, we have established strong confidence for ourselves with our strong performance, so as to further unleash our speed in the race and accurately execute the established race strategy. Thank you to the team for your persistence and support throughout the season!”
After the Shanghai Grand Prix, the Jaguar TCS team will continue its Asian race schedule. The twelfth round will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 21 (Saturday).
