On May 19, Geely's new Boyue L was officially launched on the market, with the official guide price for the four models ranging from 115,700 yuan to 149,700 yuan.

The new car has been comprehensively upgraded in three major areas: styling, comfort and smart technology. However, compared with the old model, its entry-level suggested retail price has been reduced to RMB 10,000, and the price for additional configuration is even lower.

Specifically, the new car has a new 2.0TD intelligent driving version, which is equipped with the NOA advanced intelligent driving navigation assistance system as standard; a new 1.5TD Longteng version, equipped with an open giant panoramic sunroof, 540° panoramic images, an electric driver's seat, a Qualcomm 8155 chip, a 12.3-inch central control vertical screen, a mobile phone APP remote control system and other high-perception configurations.

In terms of appearance and interior, the new car has added Misty Gray and Sky Blue body colors; the interior color is renewed, the 1.5TD version is standardly equipped with Blue Bay Blue, and the 2.0TD version is standardly equipped with Moonlight Silver Sand White.

At the same time, the new car is upgraded with standard light-shadow sunglasses visors, which enhances the luxury of the interior. The upgraded co-pilot is equipped with practical functions such as massage, electric leg rest, heating, ventilation, etc. The new "service hall" function in the cockpit monitors the vehicle status in real time and reminds maintenance in time to ensure driving safety. The newly added APA fully automatic parking assistance and RPA remote parking assistance functions make parking easier and smarter.

Through the AEB 5-car continuous braking challenge, the new car further demonstrated its superiority in the field of intelligent safety. At the challenge site, 5 new Boyue Ls set off in the same direction one after another. When the first car recognized the dummy in front of the vase wall and triggered the AEB emergency braking, the following vehicles also quickly sensed the braking signal of the vehicle in front and triggered the AEB active braking one after another, achieving continuous and safe braking.

It is reported that the AEB function, which is standard on all new cars, starts to identify the vehicle in front within 200m, ensuring that the vehicle can stop stably at a safe distance of 60cm every time.

In terms of active safety, the new car is equipped with 26 full-scenario active safety assistance functions, including NOA advanced intelligent driving assistance system, EMA emergency steering assistance, ELKA emergency lane keeping assistance and other functions. Full sensory driving safety is achieved through Sino-European joint chassis tuning and front McPherson independent suspension with lateral stabilizer bar, rear multi-link independent suspension with lateral stabilizer bar, 20-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 high-performance SUV tires and other configurations, to achieve more stable control and shorter braking distance. In addition, the new car also has excellent passive safety performance, such as high body torsional rigidity and roof pressure resistance, to ensure the safety of passengers.
